To make a full day of your visit to Dolgellau remember that there are several other interesting attractions in the area – e.g. the Quaker Exhibition which is only a few yards away from Ty Siamas; the Meirionnydd Archive is also at Dolgellau, and Cymer Abbey only a mile north of Dolgellau at Llenelltyd, and the Coed y Brenin Forestry Centre at Ganllwyd. To those of you who like to shop there are several small interesting independent retailers in the town!
