Ty Siamas in conjunction with Y Sospan will hold a series of events on Friday 16th November to raise money for Children in Need. During the day, starting at 10am, there will be a Continuous Song outside the centre with numerous musicians having promised to participate, including Martrin Rowlands, Kevin Arnold, Osian Morris, and Rhiannwen Pugh. The event will finish with an evening in the company of popular country act Montre at 8pm. A Promise Auction will also be held during the concert. People will be asked to sponsor the Continuous Song, and tickets for the concert are on sale from Ty Siamas and Y Sospan. Also, during the day, staff will paint children’s faces, they will dress up as popular cartoon characters, such as Sali Mali and Jac-y-Jwc; there will be pancakes for sale along with a number of other things. It would be good to see as many people as possible supporting Ty Siamas’ efforts to rasie money for Children in Need. Thousands of children benefit from Children in Need’s fundraising activities annually. Children in Need provide this support in the form of grants to organisations working with children who may have experienced mental, physical or sensory disabilities; behavioural or psychological disorders; are living in poverty or situations of deprivation; or suffering through distress, abuse or neglect.
