Ty Siamas Art Project

We have been very fortunate to receive funding from Awards fro All to complete an arts project in collaboration between Ty Siamas, local schools and the artist from Llanelltyd Sonja Benskin Mesher.
The children of Brithdir, Dinas Mawddwy and Rhydymain are at present working on a series of colourful banners highlighting winter traditions in Wales such as the Fari Lwyd, Y Plygain and Calennig.

The large drawings on canvas is a result of the children’s original ideas and they are having fun producing the work and seeing it all come together.
